We were overall happy with the process of using renters warehouse to help us rent out our property. Our agent took the time to help us understand the entire process and answer all of our questions. A great tenant was placed quickly and using the ACH feature we received our first rent payment in a timely manner. The agreements are a bit overwhelming, especially when looking at possible fees we could incure in certain circumstances. Also, we had to call and ask about details of the first payment because it was smaller than usual due to a partial contribution to the security deposit, which we weren’t expecting. The format of the contact sheet in the welcome kit is overwhelming because of how each contact person’s areas of expertise are listed, some of them seem very similar and some of them ran into the boxes below it, so we have to guess who handles what. It’s quite a daunting process but it’s helpful to have a list of people we can talk to if we need help with anything, and everyone we’ve worked with has been very helpful, reassuring, and professional. We would prefer to keep the $80/mo. to ourselves as we end up receiving $100/mo less than the current mortgage payment on the property from rental income, but for now it is worth it having a good renter in our property and the support of the company.

Mr. Kretzmann at Renters Warehouse is a workhorse. He came out to my property the same day I initially inquired about their services, we listed immediately and him and his team, found me a great tenant within a week or so. Prior to using RW we had tried another rental marketing and management company and had absolutely no luck. The property sat on the market for 60 days until we personally found our own renters. Near the end of that lease we were referred to Renter’s Warehouse by friends. We are very thankful for the referral; it has been a wonderful experience working with them. We were able to initiate the process, find a tenant, and have tenant move-in within 30 days. The Dean Karlen team at Renters Warehouse where most helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The company rented our town house after less than two weeks of listing. Renters Warehouse gave us less to worry about and walked us through the entire process still allowing us to ultimately have final say in tenants.

We have yet to deal with tenant turnover and/or the move out process so the book is still open. However if that is handled in the same manner as the listing and renting process I foresee more positive feedback in the future.

The RW team has consistently provided a positive experience for me as a “new” landlord for a townhome that I could not sell. I have worked with a couple different management companies in the Twin Cities area and now that I have worked with Renters Warehouse, out of Golden Valley, I will always use them. I hired 3 different companies to find me a tenant for my wife’s property in St Paul, Renters Warehouse was the first to find a quality tenant and this last time was no exception.
